“Always Working On Yourself And Your Dreams”

Our Founder Story

After finishing university, the founder of Always Working Clothing found himself feeling lost and struggling with his mental health. During that time, he created the brand as a reminder to keep going, not through constant productivity, but by slowly working through hardship and rebuilding confidence.

Always Working Clothing grew from that personal journey into a brand focused on honest growth, reflection and resilience. It exists to encourage people to work on themselves at their own pace and to believe that progress, no matter how small, still matters.

The Re-Launch

Always Working Clothing went through a three-year period of reflection and development, evolving from an idea with good intentions into a brand with clear direction and purpose. During that time, the founder refined what the brand should stand for and how it could exist differently within streetwear.

Today, Always Working Clothing is built on three core pillars:

Streetwear — Inspired by Japanese and Korean aesthetics and the streets of South East London, focused on intentional and limited collections.

Media — Personal and reflective storytelling through videos, mini-magazines and digital content that explore creativity, growth and lived experience.

Events — Select in-person gatherings designed to bring people together, currently centred around an annual film screening in August and an end-of-year community event in December.
